Here is a document myself and colleagues made in medical school about common psychiatric issues that come up in final exams As always, it is a personally made document which attempts to highlight common thought processes when dealing with psychiatric issues. A key term in medicine these days is 'Biopsychosocial' models of healthcare and almost everything can be distilled into these three categories. Psychiatry, even as an anaesthetist(!) is of the utmost importance in medicine and should not be glossed over. A good understanding of psychiatric principles underpins a lot of medicine. This is a long and quite extensive document, but can be used to revise key concepts.
