Here's a summary of a lot of the amazing #FOAMed that happened at #LIVES2018 --> ESICM.ORG/BLOG
As always - and as I'm sure you already know... PLEASE - use your sense of enquiry to google, ask about and research these topics before forming an opinion. This has been discussed at length on Twitter.
The intention of this content should be clear - they are 'thought provoking topics'.
All of #FOAMed is designed to create a culture of natural enquiry - NOT a definitive knowledge base. The whole Social Media Clinical Faculty realise this and would not wish anyone to take any one of our points away as 'THE TRUTH' - they are snapshots of a conference and a variety of opinions - they're not a textbook, nor a replacement for experience.
Also - there are HUNDREDS of slides below.... I've tried my best to organise them meaningfully, but our team can't realistically answer everyone's questions on them or provide definitive references every time; it's too time consuming - would advise anyone to GOOGLE the trials and if still wondering - you can find the speaker on the ESICM LIVES 2018 programme here for more info.
