AKI Checklist - how to deal with a injured kidney

The ABCDE approach to AKI is a fairly new anecdote. Started by Dr. Leonard in the Ulster Hospital Dundonald and published in a quality improvement journal (see HERE) it is an excellent way to remember AKI assessment in an exam scenario.

The 'ABCDE' checklist 


(Address drugs, Boost blood pressure, Calculate fluid balance, Dip urine, Exclude obstruction)
