FRCA VIDEO LECTURE COURSE
The Primary FRCA (Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists) is the cornerstone of the UK examinations in anaesthesia. It spans the vast topics of clinical anaesthesia, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology and physics to come up with some of the most complex and comprehensive post graduate medical exam questions of any specialty. Internationally recognised as a gruelling ordeal, it seems to be here to stay. The primary exam consists of two components, the written paper (90 MCQ and 30 SBA Questions) and the viva/osce day.
This video, e-Learning material has been sourced as free content - it contains hundreds of videos and hours of content. It is worth a long perusal at the beginning of your studies toward the Primary Examination.
The topics I have chosen, can all be mapped to 'Annex B' (CCT curriculum) for Anaesthetics, which details the topics for the examinations.
YouTube is a vast repository of information but it can be hard to navigate or to even know what to search for! Turning to a flipped classroom approach, I decided to compile some of the key topics in each section into video playlists. All the videos are owned by their respective creators and this is merely a compilation; they are freely available on YouTube.
